I stand alone…waiting.
Hungry with desire…
To have you once again.
In a careful whisper or a reckless embrace.
As it engulfs the spark deep within my soul.
My constant longing…
An eternal flame
The pilot light of our love.
And at any moment…With any word
I might combust…and blaze
beyond the pleasures I have known.
Renewed in the love of your presence.
Pulling toward you in spite of my constant
Needing you beyond words.
The deeper you
To lose myself yet again…
In the flame of your love.
And come undone
Allow myself to open
To the rawness of passion
My deepest desire
found within the very core
of the all of me.
Help me release this gift
It is for you

Tell me the wind is but a whimper—
Low the flame that leaps the grates;
Tell me the lightening’s but a simple
Evidence of starlit fate.
On the rooftop beats the rain,
Bend my ear
Far from fear
And tell me spring will come again.
Tell me the grass will green as pure—
Not from fear the lambs are bleating;
Tell me the sun will shine as sure—
Not from the darkness sleeting.
Thunder breaks beyond the door,
Hold me tight
Far from night
And tell me we will love once more.

How may I count all the days…and hours…
Until I see you again. To touch you. To have your body near me.
Hoping beyond reason…that you will feel as I do.
Hungry for your flesh.
Wanting beyond measure the connection to your soul.
I burn for you as a candle,
until nothing remains
Then reignited to burn again.
My flame stronger
reaching higher with every new encounter of you.
Do you burn for me?
Do you miss the touch of my hands
Are you awoken by the hunger for my body?
And when we meet again
will you remember?
Will you take me in your arms
and let all the days
slip away into a deeper comfort?
The comfort of our love?
The comfort of our souls united in flesh
and sealed with the bond
of two hearts.
I wonder as I wait.
Hoping beyond all my fear
That you will grab me
never let me go
Knowing that the deepest love
is said in body.
Without words or
Just flesh against flesh.
The truth revealed in our unity.
Balancing our love to grow
and expand beyond time
To be one.
