Poem: You are the One

DSC00898

You are the One
By Tessa Saks
You are the light
that fills my days with meaning.
 You are the joy
that awakens my soul with pleasure.
 You are the one
 who ignites my deepest passion.
And no matter where you are
or what you choose to do
Know that deep in my heart
 I will love only you.

Love Poem: And If At Last

Love Tessa saks 2
And If At Last
By Louise Labe
And if at last he drew me to his side
In hot embrace, for whom I waste away;
And if this sick necessity to stay
With him forever were satisfied;
And if he held me so and sighed,
Oh love, Let us be true, let such fatality
Join us as neither hurricane nor sea
Nor subtler turbulence shall ever move;
And if I held him bound upon my breast,
Frantic and ardent, as the ivies cling
About the mighty bough, and death should spring
Upon me: I offer all my breath
Upon his lips at last, and sink to rest.

Love

tessa saks love poem

Sonnet 116
By William Shakespeare

Let me not to the marriage of true minds
Admit impediments. Love is not love
Which alters when it alteration finds,
Or bends with the remover to remove:
O no! it is an ever-fixed mark
That looks on tempests and is never shaken;
It is the star to every wandering bark,
Whose worth’s unknown, although his height be taken.
Love’s not Time’s fool;, those rosy lips and cheeks
Within his bending sickle’s compass come:
Love alters not with his brief hours and weeks,
But bears it out even to the edge of doom.
If this be error and upon me proved,
I never writ, nor no man ever loved.

Love Poem: When We Two Parted

Love Poem

When We Two Parted

By Lord Byron

When we two parted

In silence and tears,

Half broken-hearted

To sever for years,

Pale grew thy cheek and cold,

Colder thy kiss;

Truly that hour foretold

Sorrow to this.

The dew of the morning

Sunk chill on my brow—

It felt like the warning

Of what I feel now.

Thy vows are all broken,

And light is thy fame;

I hear thy name spoken,

And share in its shame.

They name thee before me,

A knell to mine ear;

A shudder comes o’er me—

Why wert thy so dear?

They know not I knew thee,

Who knew thee too well:—

Long, long shall I rue thee,

Too deeply to tell.

In secret we met—

In silence I grieve

That thy heart could forget,

Thy spirit deceive.

If I should meet thee

After long years,

How should I greet thee?—

With silence and tears.

Discover Love

by Tessa Saks

The world is beauty.

You are beauty.

Love is beauty.

See the beauty inside all of life.

Trust it.

Allow it.

Do not think too hard.

Do not try to force it.

Open to it. Allow it.

Let it flow. Release love. Release beauty.

Open yourself to the possibilities of beauty.

It’s everywhere.

All around you.

Every day.

Don’t question.

Expand.

Expand what is good—what is joy—what is love.

Send it out to others.

Share with others.

Your role is to give it to others.

Share it.

Be the light for them.

Be the hope.

Find ways to share it.

Allow it to flow from you to others.

Open.

Open your heart.

Stop the questioning.

Stop the analysis.

Just be.

Then do.

Be the love. Be the light.

Every day.

Inspire others to their potential.

Give the gift of love.

Give the gift of kindness.

Give the gift of self-discovery.

Your gift to them is to help them discover the beauty within themselves.

Help others to release their blocks.

Help others to see what beauty resides within all.

They are loved.

They are beauty.

They are joy.

Start small. Start around you.

Take the time for others.

Give what is inside you.

Be the light.

Discover the joy in others and you will be joyous.

Allow love to flow.

Be open to the possibilities before you.

Try new things.

Allow yourself to be open to new ideas.

Create a new world.

Create love.

Forget your ego.

Write.

Paint.

Teach.

Talk.

Share.

Trust in yourself.

Give others hope.

Be part of the solution.

Let go of the problems.

Use your inner glow to guide others.

Be their light until they discover their own.

Be their love.

Be their compassion.

Be the bridge to get them to themselves.

Life is meant to be joyous.

Life is meant to be fun.

Life will have sorrow.

Life will have pain.

It’s the joy and bliss that erase the sorrow and the pain.

The sorrow and pain is there to remind you that you have a choice, every day.

A choice to embrace life.

A choice to destroy life.

In your sorrow and pain you destroy life. Your life, the life others.

Each person has the power to create bliss, to create joy.

When we’ve lost the way to joy we can stay lost.

We can get deeper and deeper into pain, into sorrow.

There is a way free.

There is always a way free.

Find yourself.

The inner self.

The deepest self.

There is only love.

There is only joy.

There is only bliss when you find your inner you.

Trust in it.

Find a path to it.

Find a reliable path to access it as much as possible.

Be humble and realize that you are only love.

That is all. That is enough.

Forgiveness

By Tessa Saks

I am lost in this sea

Of frozen time

Crippled by emptiness of

Distant skies

I look to you for answers

I look to you for truth

Silence

A murmur

A whisper

I wait with heavy patience

Distilled by a night filled

With brilliance

Rising before you

Vanquished

Undone

Forgive me

Colors of sorrow remain

To haunt faded desires

A secret stain

Endlessly resurfacing

Memories bitter and stale

Soured by life

Soured by love

Purify my life

Purify my love

Cleanse the discontent

From the hollows

Of my damaged soul

I wait for redemption

Quiet in the stir of morning

I wait

I want to be new

A sterile heart

And chaste mind

Forgive me

Cleanse me

Purify the unknown depth

Of despair and longing

I wait

I wait for you

Only you
