Love Poem: In Every Moment

Love Poem Desire Tessa Saks

In every moment
I stir with a yearning
that disrupts my daily life
in ways
beyond my reason.

I hold back
against the dark forces
that rise
to the surface of my soul
and torment
my existence.

In every moment…
in every act…
every impulse…
is the thought of you.
The remembered longing
of your touch.

I am chained to you
in ways I do not want
and yet I do.
How can I know peace
when
my very core is riddled
with a longing
that can never be met?
A desire
beyond any satisfaction.

But I return.
Again and again,
to the pressure of you.
Against my sound mind
battles the
passion of my soul.
Knowing
I’ll never have
what I long for.

In the still of the night
and
through the peaks and valleys
of activity
this longing remains.
Forever burning for you.
Only you.

Poem: Where Are You Now?

love poem rapture 4

By Tessa Saks

Where are you now
my forgotten love?
Why am I not
with you?
Should I repent
and
cast aside
the pain that
stirs deep within.
I was yours
in heart
and mind.
A bond forged
in you.
I know it well
but you
seem lost.
Unable to see the truth.
You felt the joy
I know you did
In the
depths of all that’s true.
The softest touch.
A gentle kiss.
With whispers just for you.
Yet you turned your back
to love’s true call.
For what I cannot say.
But know that
I am ever yours
and waiting
for you
Only you.

Love Poem: Remembered Kiss II

Love Poem: Remembered Kiss II
by Tessa Saks

My body hungers
for your touch.
A golden hour
when thoughts of you
replace my darkest fear.

Wanting
your body pressed close to
mine.
Needing the
velvet touch of warm flesh
to comfort
my unkempt mind
and silence the endless chatter.

Banish my insecurity with your embrace.
Unchain my heart
to open
and love the all of you.
The deeper you
that stirs with my soul
and wakes
the light within.

The light of love.
The light of desire.
The light of you. Only you.

Love Poem: Remembered Kiss V
By Tessa Saks

How can I work
and carry
the burden
of everyday life,
when you are
pulling
my discorded heart
deeper
into
this endless despair.

I am lost
without
you.

Unable to tether
my constant
longings
for your touch.
Another embrace
to chill
this fire
burning deep
within
my
charred soul.

You endanger
the
fabric
of the
whole
of my life.

Tearing it apart.
Ripping through
all that
I have
built.

My safe haven.
Rocked
by your words.
Never to return
to the security
of
my well-formed life.

The patterns implode.
In quiet darkness
your kiss
reveals
flaws.
The fault line
of my heart.

The discovered
inclusion
that
is you.

Love Poem: Remembered Kiss VI
by Tessa Saks

This passion grows
beyond discontent.
A hungry heart
waiting
for
your touch.

Unchallenged longings
Stirring
to awaken
the discord
that brews
within
the walls of my soul.

Unrepentant
and desolate,
they fire the rage
of desire
threatening
to engulf
my every movement.

Blurring the edges
of reason
and doubt
to free
the heat
of your kisses.

I long for you
in ways
and methods
beyond
the humble past
my records show.

Take me.
This wreck
of a
heart.
Make me whole
and
furnish the
vacant halls
of my soul.

Fill me with
unbridled
pleasure
to wake with
a strong embrace
and feel the power
of being
lost
in your strength.

For now.
For evermore.

Love Poem
Remembered Kiss VII
By Tessa Saks

In the frozen quiet
of morning
I wake
to feel your touch.

A remembered kiss
moves through me
stirring the
longing
back to life.

My constant pull
to find you.
To press my body
firm against yours.
And discover
in the strength
of your embrace…Desire

The endless passion
that
resurfaces
only to remind me
of all that
I lost
when
you broke me.
Scattering my love
into all directions.
Never to be found
or
saved.

Fragmented forever
in the winds
of time.
With only memories
to rise and erase
the pain.
A fleeting joy
in remembrance
of the passion
we held.

Bound together
for eternity
until
the impossible
charade
wakes into
a clear light
casting
shadows on the
imperfections.

Bringing them
beyond awareness.
Too painful to ignore.
Too deep
to erase.

That only time
can wear down
to reveal
the once beautiful
joy of
our perfect love.

In memories.
In the quiet morning.

Before my head stirs and remembers to forget.

Love

tessa saks love poem

Sonnet 116
By William Shakespeare

Let me not to the marriage of true minds
Admit impediments. Love is not love
Which alters when it alteration finds,
Or bends with the remover to remove:
O no! it is an ever-fixed mark
That looks on tempests and is never shaken;
It is the star to every wandering bark,
Whose worth’s unknown, although his height be taken.
Love’s not Time’s fool;, those rosy lips and cheeks
Within his bending sickle’s compass come:
Love alters not with his brief hours and weeks,
But bears it out even to the edge of doom.
If this be error and upon me proved,
I never writ, nor no man ever loved.
