Together

We belong together.

I am not one to share my thoughts with strangers but when writing my heart opens and the deepest parts of my soul are revealed. And yet, standing beside you, my voice freezes. I want to be with you. To be near you once again.
We shared a life of love and heartache and I never wanted it to end. What happened that we are now apart?

We belong together. I can say it a million different ways in writing and yet when we are together something holds me and
I cannot say all that needs to be released.

The heart is a strange tool for love. It often fails when you need it most. Or perhaps it knows better. It protects you from the madness of honesty and pain. Would we be happy together? Perhaps my heart imagines it and allows me this folly but prevents the reality from harming the fragile nature of love. Of our love. For I want you beyond measure.

Should I take the risk and betray the danger of rejection? So we may be as we once were. Bound by love. And happy.
Together. Forever.

Love Poem: In Every Moment

Love Poem Desire Tessa Saks

In every moment
I stir with a yearning
that disrupts my daily life
in ways
beyond my reason.

I hold back
against the dark forces
that rise
to the surface of my soul
and torment
my existence.

In every moment…
in every act…
every impulse…
is the thought of you.
The remembered longing
of your touch.

I am chained to you
in ways I do not want
and yet I do.
How can I know peace
when
my very core is riddled
with a longing
that can never be met?
A desire
beyond any satisfaction.

But I return.
Again and again,
to the pressure of you.
Against my sound mind
battles the
passion of my soul.
Knowing
I’ll never have
what I long for.

In the still of the night
and
through the peaks and valleys
of activity
this longing remains.
Forever burning for you.
Only you.

Love Poem: Remembered Kiss

Love Poem Dark
Love Poem: Remembered Kiss IV
by Tessa Saks

I am worn of love.
By the demands
that pull
my heart
further
away from my soul.

Their needs
replacing
passion and fire
with
discontent
and longing.

Am I their slave?
To give
until I break
from
the burden
of their desires.

Unable to fulfill
the never ending
selfish requests.

A fool disguised
in
mother’s love.
Impatient.

Now
an emptiness
grows
in the
caverns
of my heart.

The more I love
the more
it encroaches…
destroying
all the good.

Replacing it
with
hollowed hope…
for a deeper love.
A reckless passion
uniting
in my soul
to
release me.

Allow me to feel
the burning coals
of a lover’s touch.
A heavy embrace
that
suffocates
the loneliness.

Invigorating
the life
that sparks
my glowing ember
of past love.

I want to rise…
renewed
by a kiss
that opens
the treasure
of desire.
Of consummate pleasure.

Awaken me.

Unleash
the unyielding joy
now captive.

Open my heart’s dungeon
to
love.
That deep love
of lovers
tangled in
desire.

The love I buried
and
lost.
A forgotten map
to
my true soul.
The one that needs
a long
embrace-filled night.

Cast free of
responsibility.
Reckless
and unending.

Yielding to
your touch.
Forever yours.

Love Poem: Remembered Kiss V
By Tessa Saks

How can I work
and carry
the burden
of everyday life,
when you are
pulling
my discorded heart
deeper
into
this endless despair.

I am lost
without
you.

Unable to tether
my constant
longings
for your touch.
Another embrace
to chill
this fire
burning deep
within
my
charred soul.

You endanger
the
fabric
of the
whole
of my life.

Tearing it apart.
Ripping through
all that
I have
built.

My safe haven.
Rocked
by your words.
Never to return
to the security
of
my well-formed life.

The patterns implode.
In quiet darkness
your kiss
reveals
flaws.
The fault line
of my heart.

The discovered
inclusion
that
is you.

Love Poem: Remembered Kiss VI
by Tessa Saks

This passion grows
beyond discontent.
A hungry heart
waiting
for
your touch.

Unchallenged longings
Stirring
to awaken
the discord
that brews
within
the walls of my soul.

Unrepentant
and desolate,
they fire the rage
of desire
threatening
to engulf
my every movement.

Blurring the edges
of reason
and doubt
to free
the heat
of your kisses.

I long for you
in ways
and methods
beyond
the humble past
my records show.

Take me.
This wreck
of a
heart.
Make me whole
and
furnish the
vacant halls
of my soul.

Fill me with
unbridled
pleasure
to wake with
a strong embrace
and feel the power
of being
lost
in your strength.

For now.
For evermore.

Love Poem: Remembered Kiss VII

Love Poem
Remembered Kiss VII
By Tessa Saks

In the frozen quiet
of morning
I wake
to feel your touch.

A remembered kiss
moves through me
stirring the
longing
back to life.

My constant pull
to find you.
To press my body
firm against yours.
And discover
in the strength
of your embrace…Desire

The endless passion
that
resurfaces
only to remind me
of all that
I lost
when
you broke me.
Scattering my love
into all directions.
Never to be found
or
saved.

Fragmented forever
in the winds
of time.
With only memories
to rise and erase
the pain.
A fleeting joy
in remembrance
of the passion
we held.

Bound together
for eternity
until
the impossible
charade
wakes into
a clear light
casting
shadows on the
imperfections.

Bringing them
beyond awareness.
Too painful to ignore.
Too deep
to erase.

That only time
can wear down
to reveal
the once beautiful
joy of
our perfect love.

In memories.
In the quiet morning.

Before my head stirs and remembers to forget.
